Chillaxin'

No adventures, today. I'm playing the domestic diva and doing some cleaning and wash. I think I'll crack open the Zumba DVD and gets to steppin'. A little known RT factoid: I have a great sense of rhythym and used to be quite a dancer (not so much now, because of the past four years). Eh...the only thing that would make a day of domestic divaness complete would be cooking, but since it is only me, I'll have a salad and something a little more substantial, so that I don't starve myself. That's not a good way to lose weight.

So, what do I have to offer? I have some one-liners that I hope will give you a giggle.

Have an awesome day!

1. Borrow money from a pessimist -- they don't expect it back.

2. Few women admit their age; few men act it.

3. If we aren't supposed to eat animals, why are they made with meat?

4. He who laughs last thinks slowest.

5. Save a tree. Eat a beaver.

Is number five based on this?

Why does that song go through my head when I am driving around town?

Damn. You are funny!

A dancer huh.

Cooking should not be allowed on Vacation.

I think everything is more substantial than salad, other than water?

2 Could be the greatest truth in life.

Great tune! I think you are being corrupted.

I think is that Nashville magic.

Sometimes "Bad RT" still lurks around, especially when I can't sleep and up way too late.

Not a "real" dancer, but I used to have the skill.

If I don't cook on my vacation, I will not eat. Wish I could afford to go out to eat all of the time, though.

I can't seem to eat much more than salad without gaining weight. I have to learn to accept that fact.

I wonder if we are really supposed to "act" our age. Most people that try to "act" their age lack a sense of humor and willingness to see the possibilities in life and take risks. I'm 39 and proud of it, btw.

"Being"? It is the part of my mind I struggle with the most. Can't say I believe in magic, either. :)

I've loved that song every since it was used on Dancing with the Stars.

Have fun domestic goddessing today RT. Personally, I'm hiding from all such duties today. ;)

I've always kind of liked the cheekiness of it. I like their voices, too. Distinct.

I managed to do the dishes, so far. You'd think I'd use the dishwasher. Now, to tackle the wash. I'm trying to not have any real chores past tomorrow in case I end up doing something for the holiday. Doubt it, but at least I can just chill. I think I'll go to the Farmer's Market tomorrow.

I'll be working on my resume and stuff the next couple of days. God would have to provide a financial miracle, though. However, don't think I haven't been praying about this for years...lots of years.

j/k, RT! ;-) I'm a Philly boy, born and bred. Just driving to Western Chester County is enough to make me laugh.

BTW - whatever happened to the black guy that ran with Big and Rich? Wasn't he supposed to be famous for being the only county/black/rap star??

Uh...I'm from the same area, dude.

;P'''''

I'll scrounge up some Philly music.

A lot of the songs make use of a lot of literary devices, but I don't think a lot of people notice that little fact.

Yeah, that guy was supposed to be big, but to be honest, I didn't think he had the rapping skills.

Now, go harass the Amish.
