Just one of those songs

I love Dwight Yoakam. Down here, I get to hear him on the radio quite a lot. Today, my favorite song by him came on, and it is just one of those songs you want to share with someone because bopping around in the car looks insanely dumb.

So, I'm sharing it with y'all.

I've never really enjoyed country music all that much, but I do know "good" when I hear it. DY is a hell of an actor, too.

I do have some country on the ol' hard drive, and Dwight is right in there with some of the old timers like Johnny Cash, Waylon, and so on.

Wish I was that skinny, too!

I remember when he first became "known," that he really didn't get the respect he deserved. His music is really good. I haven't seen any of his acting, though. I hear he is good.

I don't like the newer stuff. It is too "poppy."

I recommend Sling Blade. You, too, will want to kill him before the movie is over. He does villain well.
