Picture of the Day

There is something to be said of letting go and just choosing to trust. I'm learning this more and more every day. I think a verse from the New Testament that applies to what Job 42 has to offer is Hebrews 11:1.

A couple of months ago (and just about every day since) I decided to tell myself, and God, that He is the one in control, the one that has all the power to meet my needs and desires, in addition to restoring what I want so much to see restored. Lately, He's been going beyond what I could ever expect.

It is the hardest thing I ever had to do. I slip every now and then.

I think we all slip. We're human. We want things to happen or to be resolved, but God is in the details and always has a plan. If we'd only ALWAYS practice that, though. It's tough, sometimes.

Isn't it amazing when we let go and let God!

His timing is perfect, and He has our best interests at heart. and remember, He WILL reward the faithful!

have courage, and be strong!

Yes, and until it is something a person has done wholeheartedly from the heart...that person would just not understand.

All I know is that I perpetually screw things up when I try to do things. It has to be God.
