It all adds up: Week 4

Jedi mind tricks work! Woo hoo!!! Since I have two lengthy posts below, I'll keep this short and sweet like my berry-rich protein shake: I LOST FIVE POUNDS THIS WEEK!!!!! WOW!

As some of you know, I've been trying to lose weight since this time last year and had hit quite a wall: lack of motivation and wacky metabolism (diagnosed). I've now lost 60 pounds in the past year, but I'd like the remainder gone within the next year.

Thanks! That chocolate was so freakin' good, too--chocolate truffle. I'm learning moderation and how to stop. (It's why I don't drink often; once I start, I don't stop.)

It would be nice to never hit a plateau, but I'm enjoying the "meltdown." :)

All I can do is try. When I have people to answer to, I try really hard. Even my mom is thinking of trying what I'm doing. It would be awesome if she could get to the point where she can drop some of the medication she is taking.

Thanks ! :)

Double Yay! And um, yay!

You've stuck to it, kept what you lost off a long time too, that really rocks. *h*

Fantastic! 5 pounds, that's just great, keep up the good work.

60 pounds in a year is quite an accomplishment, you should be very proud!

I think I got so focused on the HUGE picture (lots of weight to lose) that I forgot that I have lost a fair amount of weight over the year.

I do have a long way to go, though. I never thought that I'd get to where I am with weight. It has been depressing a lot of the time, because of it mostly being caused by not being well. However, things are improving and my body is finally behaving itself and now I'm losing weight. I just pray it continues and that I lose all of it.

I don't purposely want to be a freak. Certainly tired of being treated like it.

Sorry...but it is how I feel.
