When in doubt....

Well, it is only Monday and it is proving to be a stressful week already. I had a bit of a long faculty meeting today with no real good news about quite a few things. One such item is our district's financial health if Trenton has its way. I won't go into it. Just know I am the last to jump on the union bandwagon, but when your district supports a mass blue-like flu to go to a rally in Trenton...well...you know things might get bad.

At least I can say I didn't vote for the idiots in Trenton. I have a clear conscience.

Since I am so tired and can't think for now, I'm going to open the floor to questions. I have some newer readers and have opened myself up a bit to y'all, so you might have some lurking wonderment in your brains. Go ahead and ask...no subject is taboo.

I'm gonna go read your blogs, now...well, for the fourth time or so tonight.

I'll post answers Wednesday evening. I'll be working late this week, so you probably won't see the answers until late Wedneday.

Is the Monger Horde unionized?

Do they take auto workers?

Will Jill realize that Scott is really her husbands half-brother from a romantic tryst with a secret agent (non-radioactive) in Paris?

How do you deal with all the liberal education crap that teachers deal with?

I messed up. It is Thursday and I completely forgot about this post. Damn. I haven't been home before 8:00 pm all week.

CUG:
Not unionized, but that could change. See your Christmas present, ingrate.

We take auto workers. We'll need someone to turn a wrench every now and then.

Hey...Jill could do worse. Who is Jill?

My blood pressure elevates and then I remember that I am outnumbered by huge amounts, say to myself, "People have their beliefs and even though they don't believe you are entitled to them, you believe they are entitled to theirs."

Honestly, I work from the time I get to school until the time I leave. I haven't noticed any liberal voodoo in the classrooms. We had one pontif, but he took an administrative position. We have some conservative teachers, but unless students bring up "liberal" stuff, the teachers really don't take their politics into the classroom. When students ask me about "stuff" I just say that I'm there to educate, not influence them in a political sense.

You'll find the "liberal education crap" in the urban areas more than the suburban areas. That's where they try every idea, cooky or good, so that's where it can seep through.

Hope I answered your question. My school's "personality" is quite liberal...given the students and their parents, so I don't know that any teachers feel they have to preach the ugly religion of Socialism. :)
