Hang 10, Dude!


I just received an email from cousin. He grew up in South Africa and loves to surf. Poor boy lives in Michigan...well..now he surfs Lake Michigan. Enjoy!

Yeah, but he told me the water temp. was 44 degrees. It was 30 degrees outside...with snow on the ground. :)

I used to live on one of the Great Lakes (Ontario) and always wondered whether anyone had tried surfing on one of them. I never knew that it had been done until today. You learn something new every day.

My cousin also races jet-skis on Lake Michigan. He probably wind-surfs, too. I know one of thing he misses most about South Africa are the water sports.

They'd call every Christmas to say they just returned home from the beach.
