I have finally decided on a guitar. I know you were all biting your nails waiting for my decision.
The guitar I'm using as a loaner is a classical guitar that I just can't quite handle. Since I'm not real good at putting things delicately, let's just say my "girls" make it a little hard to see the bottom strings, and I need to see the strings to play (for now). This guitar has a mid-depth round back (the width is a lot smaller).
I'm buying a used Ovation acoustic/electric. It's nice. My fingers are forming what appears to be calluses. Working with papers and books all of the time helps.
I'm really excited about learning how to play!

And the first concert is when???? CONGRATS! Enjoy the new toy and the freedom to be creative in the privacy of your own home :-)
I'm playing for me. :)
There is a recording studio on the premises, though. If I ever get good enough (unlikely), maybe I do something that I can post...in maybe 2-3 years! HA!
That is a pretty good choice you have made, lil bro' has had one for years and I always found it easier to play than my own Martin "clone".
When do you pick it up?
We pick 'n grin every tuesday...you're more than welcome to come.

Thank you. When I held it, I could tell the difference and that I'd be able to play it in a more comfortable manner.

All I can do right now is pick, poorly. :) I can't wait to be good enough to just sit and play.
That's a long drive to jam, but I've driven really far just to hang out.
That is a nice axe. Good luck with it.
