I just saw the funniest thing!!!!

I was watching the CMA (Country Music Awards) show. [It can happen.] Then the best thing happened...no, Johnny Cash did not come back to life...when they handed out the best female artist (?) award to Carrie Underwood, they still had all the other nominees on camera. Faith Hill (Mrs. Tim McGraw) screamed WHAT!?!?!?!?! in disbelief and stormed off camera. It was too funny!!! Hopefully the morning news shows or YouTube will have it tomorrow or in the near future. It is the one thing you've always wanted to see happen on an awards show and it happened!!! Priceless...so, Faith Hill has a bit of a chip on her shoulder, eh?

I saw that too and was in disbelief. I was mad at myself that I did not have that TIVO'd so I could rewind - and then thought maybe I was seeing things.......
Thank you for confirming. That was priceless!

I saw the same thing and couldn't believe it! Although the sound was off the little thumbnail views of the nominees, you knew exactly what she said. ----WHAT? --- and the expression as she turned away made it clear she wasn't rooting for Carrie Underwood.

I couldn't believe my eyes! It was unbelievable, I am glad others saw it too because you just can't believe Faith Hill is that bratty!

I saw it too. It was funny. She was making some pose and then said "What!!!!". I came to the web just to verify that I saw what I thought I saw.

Being 2 hours later, it occurred to me that I might be able to catch it. I tuned in just after... Damn.

C'mon YouTube!!!

She just can't believe someone younger and prettier beat her.

I had it TIVO'd and wathced it about 5 times. She had her arms ready to accept her award and glory when she finally heard Carrie Underwood's name and then she looked like my four year old when she doesn't get ice cream and stormed off.

caught it on the dvr...kept playing it over and over...unbelievable!!!! Can we say... "DIVA?"

do you think it was faith just trying to be funny?

No she was pissed. I know that look, I've had it a few times, but not over petty awards.

Thanks to everyone for posting. I'm a little overwhelmed and very happy. :)

I was watching Carrie Underwood and I missed it, but hubby said "Did you see Faith hill".. my mom called and asked if I saw it as well... came here to confirm. Her actions are shameful..her song was the worst of the night..she needs some better material. You would think she knew that she was being filmed, after all their was a camera right in FRONT OF HER! I agree with the blog calling her a "diva". shame shame shame.

Oh, I saw an earlier award when I commented before.

You called it. She pulled a Kanye without the endless idiotic babbling.

I can only imagine what happened off camera.

Faith, Faith, Faith...So pathetic, 'cause lord knows she doesn't have enough awards already. Faith ain't no country girl no more, she's a nose in the clouds DIVA!! My husband missed the Faith reaction 'cause he was too busy oolgin' Carrie. :) Where do we find the video??

Total DIVA - I too watched it many times on TIVO; and it was NO MISTAKE; although I'm sure she'll say it was an 'act' - incented by her clever publicist. She really thought it was HER name announced and HER fans cheering; and boy was she ticked to find out that it wasn't her award.

RT, she no longer is the good ol wholesome girl with good "conservative" values when she started singing. She been married to that "I'm a Democrat now" loser of her husband and it shows! Just like when they lose elections, they do the same thing!

I missed all the excitement but I'm a big Carrie Underwood fan so happy to hear it.

Ah, the irony of "Best [does it matter]" in a country music show.

Hint, there is no "Best" in country music. Only annoying and "I think I want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon" annoying.

Of course, being "music," gouging the eyes isn't too effective in stopping the pain

Thats funny stuff. My girl Gretchen was nice on camera but probably met her out in the parking lot to spit some beechnut in her eye...

Caught it on the news this morning. Funny. There's nothing like a good celebrity temper tantrum to lighten things up during a contentious election season.

Rachel: Was that just the best? Like watching the head cheerleader "popular" girl trip and fall face-first into a mud puddle.

Ssssssssteve: No sense, no feeling. Was she ever wholesome? I thought she was trying to Lori Morgan when she grew/grows up. (I'm a metal head and I now the drama and the names...yikes!)

LMC: Hello! Carrie Underwood had the sweetest speech, too. She has a way better voice than Faith Hill. (Again...with the names and the drama...must listen to metal, help!)

FIAR: Really, after the Flyers game, I couldn't much worse in my television viewing. Not all of the music is that bad...not exactly all that good, but come one...we listen to people who scream for a living!

Wreckse: Gretchen had Kanye go all Kanye on her win over him at an awards show. I hope she gave Faith a beat-down. I wouldn't frak with Wilson.

JD: Isn't it great? A model of decorum and composure....NOT!!!!

To all the anonymous folks...thanks for your comments and for hitting up my site meter. :)

Dang I missed that one too. I'd put my money on Gretchen against Kanye too ;)

First of all, as your post says you were watching it as if you would not generally do this,ok, I love country music, I have met this couple and did it ever occur to you or anyonelse that she wasn't upset that she didn't win, my guess is she really didn't think Carrie would, as us who do follow country are all wondering hello anyone home? I do believe the Horizon is for up and coming which Carrie did indeed deserve nobody is saying she didn't, but top female (NOT) its one or the other folks, figure it out, most of us have it is all politics, note Toby no nominations,he is amazing sells out as well as always has many number 1's, Tim McGraw another extreme talent hmm no nominations, so you do the math and ofcourse the Dixie Chicks, if Faith was mad,she had every right to be any other name had been called other than Carrie I am sure she would've been happy for them as all the others did deserve to win, its all politics, and I hate to tell you this but the "Lady" is only human just like the rest of us, so get over it, I bet they all have!! Just my opo, but I am sure you will disagree,so lets agree to disagree!
