Need a car for a war zone?

There is a booming (pun not intended) business in Baghdad: armored cars for rent.

It is amazing how people adapt to situations and just live like it is all "normal."

Yeah, you're not going to get much from me, today. I just liked listening to the shop's manager.

(I've posted the caption contest winners...if you're interested.)

I need a restored version to drive in DC traffic!!!!

Ironically, many of those armored cars are built in Houston, TX :-)

I'll be driving through the beltway, Friday. I hate that thing with a passion. Actually, from Manassas on up to just past Baltimore...bad for the blood pressure, for sure. Crazy people!

I'd have to agree with you, DBA. My Great-Grandfather left Scotland after WWI to be a lawyer in a Canadian mining town. Yeah, that made sense. I have a fur that was trapped for my Great-Grandmother as payment for legal services. He was known to be paid in chickens, too.
