The mighty power of the little ant

In China, rare ants are sometimes used for medicinal purposes. So, when Wang Zhendong sold $400 million worth of ant farms to otherwise struggling people who wanted to farm those rare ants, he created a scam that has ruined the lives of almost 37,000 people.

People are so upset that they have threatened to disrupt the Beijing Olympics.

While the Washington Post article I've referred to speaks of the crime committed, a video report via CNN explains the government's role in the scam. It is tempting to laugh, but many people lost their entire savings--very sad.

No wonder we keep getting trash from the companies that trade with us.

Wang Zhendong has been sentenced to death.
