A reason not to vote Democrat (Like you needed one)

Imagine: You have a life, it might not be much, or it might be going really well. You have a home and a family and maybe even really nice neighbors. Then, imagine a tornado comes and flattens all of it like a house of cards.

Devastating. Truly. You really don't need a pundit minimizing your losses, right?

Enter John F. Kerry. Yeah, you know this is going to be priceless.

During an interview about last night's storms (isn't he a Senator from Massachusetts? Why are they talking to him? He doesn't matter in all of this), he had the nerve to bring up global warming as a possible cause.
1. Interviewing John Kerry about storms that caused catastrophic loss is like asking me for my mathematical experise.

2. Hasn't Johnny noticed that global warming bandwagon doesn't have many that are still on it, let alone vocal about it?
Refuting Kerry's claims is meteorologist, Roger Edwards:
“As of this writing, no scientific studies solidly relate climatic global temperature trends to tornadoes,” Edwards wrote on the Earth & Sky Web site in April 2007. “I don’t expect any such results in the near future either, because tornadoes are too small, short–lived, hard to measure and count, and too dependent on day to day, even minute to minute weather conditions.”
Why didn't MSNBC just have Happy the Clown walk through making balloon animals for people who lost everything. That makes just about the same amount of sense.

**If you click on the link, you can see a video of Kerry's comments in the interview. So, I guess the tornadoes and storms are Bush's fault, right?

we live in the sound bite world now... sigh... no time or inclination to find out the truth. If there was, the GW fanatics and algore would have been history before they started.

Interesting sidenote on that- I know a climatologist who was going to attend the UN meeting in Fiji on GW and was listed as a speaker. When they found out she was not speaking in favor of GW, they dis-invited her and pulled her creditials!

I just hate that they bring out the same tired old idiots all of the time (on both sides). Please, he can't even talk about the 57 Varieties of Heinz.

The picture is Athabasca Glacier, Canadian Rockies.

Well, that is just assinine. How do you have dialogue and debate without all sides represented? Big babies.

Scary thought. I can't believe people felt passion for him as a candidate. How? Why?
