1. Go to Scotland. I've always wanted to see where my family is from. I'd like to make part of the voyage by ship, since that is how my family went to Canada from Scotland.I don't think the list was meant to be that long, but making it made me realize that I really had to think about this stuff. I don't spend nearly enough time dreaming about what I'd like to do someday if given the chance. When I was in my early 20s, my uncle died of cancer. He had a list when he was first diagnosed. He got to do just about everything. The one thing he didn't get to do was visit my aunt. She didn't have time to be a "proper host." I never forgave her for it. I know he died with that hurt.
2. Go to Canada to see where my grandmother grew up. She lived in what is now a ski resort. It is supposed to have a curse over it that was conjured up by the local tribe. Spooky!
3. Write a book (or a few). I'd love to have something worth saying that could be put in print. Heck, I'd like to have the depth to do it.
4. Drive a for-real sports car in a drag race.
5. Re-claim the family farm in South Africa. (I was told there was one, once.)
6. Conquer my fear of flying.
7. Drive Route 66, go up the West Coast, go into Canada, go across Canada, and then go to Niagra Falls. I'd like to visit Nova Scotia, too.
8. Well, if I was in the shoes of the men in the movie...I'd be smoking and drinking like back-in-the-day...well, I'd have nothing to lose.
9. See every Flyers game, in person.
10. I'll reserve number ten for the stuff I want to do that I will not mention on the blog.
I don't usually tag people, so if you feel the urge to do a list, by all means do it. I think I need to go think about letting myself enjoy life a little more.

Exactly what I took from this little exercise.
WOW.
That was nice and well thought out.

Yep. I keep forgetting to have a life.

Thanks. I did think about it. Nothing came right to mind.

That is so true for me as well. I made my list, and after I read it again, there are some things on there that I could and should do NOW, not just wait for it to truly be a Bucket List.
Yeah, I don't seem to really have any "now" things. Got to work on that a bit.
