Weigh-in

I haven't lost anything. Nothing to report, except for frustration. I'm going to see if changing my breakfast routine will help. It might be the protein shake. If I was more active, it would be o.k. to have the shake. My reasoning could be wrong, though.

I'm really limited as to what I can eat for breakfast. Carbs on an empty stomach make me really queasy. I'll try egg whites and some quinoa or some fruit or something.

I'm not happy, that is for sure. I'm the type of person that needs results. I'd also like to be stared at for other reasons than my weight. Not being an old-maid would be nice, too. Yeah, I see this post spinning into bitterness. That means I should stop, now.

Hope you all have a great week and experience weight-loss success. I hope to report some kind of victory next week.

Are you eating 5 or 6 small meals?

That would require me to eat during my classes. I can't do that--not all that professional. I feel bad taking my water into the classroom.

I eat at 5:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., sometimes a snack at 3:00 p.m. (nuts and fruit, maybe leftover lunch that I didn't have time to eat), and I usually eat dinner sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., depending on when I get home.

I don't have any time off during the afternoon and if I feel a little hungry during my morning prep period, I eat a handful of nuts or some of the fruit I bring to go with my lunch.

And in case anyone is wondering:

Breakfast--protein shake made with whey isolate and frozen blueberries.

Lunch--salad (lettuce, cucumber, shredded beets, white beans or tuna), apple, grapes.

Dinner--usually meat and veggies. I'm trying not to eat starches with dinner, since I don't process the glucose well.

I have a glass of milk before I go to bed, sometime in the evening.

Yep. I should be really skinny, eh?

Welcome to the joy that is my body. I need to exercise. However, I'm just too fatigued. I walked for an hour around my grocery store, today.

The weekends are harder for me to stay focused, I need routine and structure; however, I don't go that far off the "plan" for it to make me not lose weight or to cause me to gain weight.

I hoping with the reduced stress over the summer that the cortisol chills out a bit. That will help me A LOT. My body behaves as if it is on steroids. I look it, too.

Exercise will help RT, plus getting and staying on a schedule. I know it's hard, but that is what works.

Sunday and today I walked for an hour. Granted it was while shopping, but at least it was for an hour and it was walking.

I'm going to try to do the same tomorrow around my local mall.
