Whatever I want Wednesday

Since Captain America has Judas Priest Tuesday, I thought I'd do whatever I want Wednesday. Not that I don't already do whatever I want, but it feels better saying, "This is what I wanted to post because that's where the whim took me."

So, after a meeting about our contract talks that are now in need of intervention, I saw this car. I think it is the size of my trunk. I cringe when I see these, then I giggle. They make me giggle.

Annnnnd, since it is "Whatever I want Wednesday," I'm going to play a song that I heard on the way home: "Train Kept a Rollin'" by Aerosmith. I looked at many different versions. There were a lot with Joe Perry and his insanely beautiful long hair, but he kept his shirt on. So, I opted for this one: Short hair (can live with it) and his shirt comes off at some point. Yes, I really like the song, too. I love the drive in it. I could just sit in a chair across from Mr. Perry for a good long time, just to watch/listen to him play. *sigh*

Enjoy!

That car looks amazingly like one of those kiddie Coupe cars. For a better giggle, imagine the driver being some 6'6" dude who has to fold himself up to get in it. :D

It was a small chick. Figures. My left boob wouldn't fit in that thing. Well, it wouldn't.

You do NOT want to have a wreck in that thing, five star rating or not...

I saw the leftovers of one down here, what was left of the steering column was sticking out the back window after a headon with an SUV. All the SUV had was a wrinkled hood and screwed up bumper.

Ummm...OUCH!

I could MAYBE see their usefulness in Europe, in those tiny side streets, but they just look scary.

I think I'd rather take my chances with the Coupe Car. ;)

Yeah, THIS looks roomier and safer.

That was a 'Smart Car' and they are very popular in Europe, where the distances tend to be less and the streets windier and twistier.

They also make interesting smears on the Autobahn when they wreck. Yes, people drive them on a highway with no speed limit and no, they don't survive when they crash.

Somehow, they've been certified for sale and use in the US. Why do I expect to see most bearing bumper stickers advetising 'world peace', 'global warming' and various left wing causes and politicians?

I cannot believe people think they can drive those things on the Autobahn. Crazy. I've seen clips of accidents on it and it isn't pretty.

I'll go get something with which to stitch you. You might need some mending. ;)
