Weighin' in

I'm up two pounds this week, but that is in keeping with the roller coaster: lose a bunch one week, lose none the next, gain a couple the next, and then hopefully nothing the fourth...rinse, repeat.

I haven't been eating fish like I should be. I really think that's part of my success when I experience it. When I eat it 2-3 times per week, I lose weight, plain and simple. Maybe it is the essential oils and acids? I'm not a professional, so I wouldn't know. All I can do is try.

So, given my pattern, I should be the same next Saturday, and then the following week....down some pounds. At least I've hit that 20 pound mark, even with the fluid fluctuations. I haven't gone back up the scale to where I started in January '07, either.

If people can't hang with me in a patient manner and just want to judge the outside...that is their problem. I'm tired of worrying about everyone else.

I received two truly nice compliments, today: 1. That I look great, and 2. That my face looks completely different, now. (The people at the salon I go to haven't seen me since February.) That put a little spring in my step.

I tried to take a picture of my hair (in a way that my whole face can't be seen) and of my pedicure. I think I'll post them later. I do have dye on my forehead and no make up, though. Eh, what the heck. Maybe I will post them. I don't care anymore.

It's funny you mention the fish thing. I was at the beach so I ate a lot of sea food, and I lost weight this week. Maybe there is something to the fish thing.

I will make a point of eating fish three times this week and I'll see whether or not it worked. Good thing I love fish. I think I'll have talapia, orange roughy, and shrimp. Sounds good, eh?

I have salmon, too. Hmm....
