Pictures of the day
O.k. Still feeling good from a compliment or two, I thought I'd post a picture of my "do" and my pedicure. Keep in mind that I had absolutely no make up on (yikes) and I had some hair color on my forehead (it happens). It is redder in person. Yes, I know, I have jacked up looking tootsies, but ill-fitting shoes and walking around in heels from the age of 12 didn't help them. Enjoy...I hope. HA! (Yes, cell phone camera---hmmm...can I think of any other excuses?)

I'm learning to appreciate compliments these days. I've never been really good at taking them. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm receiving one...so dense.

I am glad the nice compliments are rolling in. I have a tough time with compliments. I feel that I am not worthy of most of them.

The nail polish is "something" Red Square, by OPI (case anyone is interested). It is my favorite commie color. HA!
One of my kids walked into class and yelled (yes, yelled), "Your hair is so red! It looks cool!" A colleague of mine said, "Nice red hair. Looks good." I've never had the male species comment on my hair like that. HA!
It is actually pretty close to my natural hair color (before the gray).
