I grew up poor and with no a/c so quit your whining. Just kidding. I recently decided to not run the a/c and to try to tough it out (sick of paying all that money, especially after this past winter) I just opened the windows and blew the overnight cool air in the house and everything was cool. This was fine until two events screwed it all up. Our overnight lows were in the 80's and an army of mosquitos found their way through my defences (hole in back door screen) and went to town all over my body (and not in a good way) I woke up itching like mad wondering what the heck went on while I was sleeping. So I gave in and turned on the a/c, found the calimine, and slept well last night. So much for that plan.

2. Really old apartments with no shade from the sun.
3. I'm supporting my mom right now, so yeah....po'.
4. Two hours of sleep.
5. I look at it as a poor man's suana. :) Trying to have a positive outlook amidst my whining.
Sorry----sauna----my brain is a bit melted.
I thought about mentioning going to the library, but that wouldn't help the cat.
Go wander around a PetSmart for a couple hours. Kitty can go too.

The cats seem to be doing ok. They sleep on the bathroom floor. Past experience tells me that it's a nice cool spot. (Days of long ago.)

It is really cloudy and there is a cool breeze coming in my window. That is a relief!
I took my dad out to lunch and went for a ride, though. :) That made me feel normal again.

I seem to remember bouncing off of each wall like pinball as I walked up the steps to my apartment, once. No, I wasn't the designated driver that night. :)
