The Verdict

Ok...I'm really sick. My mom had to drive me to the doctor in my car....that's how you know I'm sick. In fact, she almost got into an accident.

My doctor told me that I am too rundown from working too hard and then commuting an hour. So...I guess what he is trying to say is, stop killing yourself for kids that don't give you a second thought. He blames the grade-fest I had Monday night and that in general I am rundown...ie last week's almost "sick" episode.

So...my mommy is out getting me my antibiotic and industrial strength cough syrup. Hopefully the fever will finally go away (yep..three days).

At least my eyeballs don't feel like they are going to shoot out of my head today.

I'll be back tomorrow, I think. I am so bored and all my work is at school. My eyes hurt too much to read anyway.

Thank you for your well wishes. I appreciate it. I never get sick like this.

Hope you feel better soon.

A speedy recovery is what you'll have! And then before you know it you'll be back terrorizing motorists while racing to work listening to some Maiden. :)

Aces High!

My ears now don't hurt as bad. I still have a fever and feel very crappy otherwise. I wish all the aches would go away. Why is it when you get sick, that your ass muscles just ache?

I just had some ice cream and that felt good going down the train tracks.

Where would the world be without moms? (That's a rhetorical question. I know that things on this planet would be pretty boring without them.)

I hope the drugs kick in fast. Make sure to take them all and exactly like they said you should.

See, my mom taught me well.

Enjoying the double-dose of antibiotics, I am. At least they smell like vanilla.

I feel better than yesterday. Sitting in an upright position will take the rest of the weekend.

My mom has seen me through more crap than I'd like to think. I was born two months early (we almost died), I was a major pain when I was a teen, yet she always trusted me to make good decisions...which meant I did at least try. While I made seriously poor decisions, it could have been worse. You could say that because of her I didn't end up in jail or dead at a young age.

She's always been patient with me, too. I'd be nowhere without my mommy.
