Team USA

I usually try to buy items "made in America" or at least goods by any company that employs people in the United States. Actually, I try to give business to local mom and pop stores as much as I can, too (mmmmm...hoagies and cheesesteaks).

So, after reading Insol's latest post about China, I got to thinking (well, it is the end of the world). Maybe "we" should look more into supporting our own goods and services or even the goods and services of overseas companies that employ people in our country. While I truly believe our world is too intertwined to be ultra-Nationalistic, there are things we can do to not allow certain countries (that we cannot trust) to hurt our economy any more than they have or to allow them to put themselves into a position that can harm our economy.

I only did a little bit of searching, since I'm very distracted by the Eagles' game, but these sites seem to offer pretty good information:

Take the information and use it as you wish.

I love your description of yourself and your quote at the top. I think we have a lot in common. Great blog.

Thank you! I tend to be a bit blunt at times, which kind of ruins the whole "I'm a Christian" thing, but so was Peter. ;) You know what? I just realized that all of the disciples had very different personalities, mostly very flawed...Christ enjoyed all of them...well, except maybe Judas.

RT, He enjoyed Judas too, in fact he loved him as much as he does us! Wow, that sounded very pious didn't it?! HA!

Hey, just wanted to let you know I went to the support USA website and found a link there to a boycott Wal-mart site, a very liberal site! I e-mailed the support USA site to see what they say about it. You should check it out. Anyways don't let the kidos in school get you down!!

Wal Mart sells crap...that's why I don't go there...heck, I made $3.25 in minimum wage once. Hmm..I wonder why? Uneducated, no skills, etc...

I have seriously only been in Wal Mart maybe twenty times in over a decade. I was never happy with it, so I don't go. I really don't care about the lib stance on Wal Mart...it is completely hypocritical anyway. If they are wearing diamonds, they know what I mean. The information I provided was more to see what products and companies are out there, not so much the message of the site. SOrry about that...hope it didn't make you blind or anything. I'll leave it up there, though.
