It all adds up: Week 10

Well, doing this weekly weigh-in has been quite educational for me. When I got on the scale and it showed me that I had gained four pounds this week, I wasn't happy. However, I have to keep reminding myself that my body doesn't respond to life like the bodies of normal people.

Therein is where I battle. I know I will lose the weight and that some weeks, despite my efforts, my body will say, "No." Then when it kicks up again and cooperates, I drop the pounds.

So, I just have to put my intolerance for my own personal failure aside and continue to tell myself that it will get better and that as I lose more weight, my body will be more cooperative. At least that's what my doctors tell me.

Hope you all had better luck than me this week. :)

Hang in there girl! As I told Wyatt after one weigh in, muscle weighs more than fat, so if you're exercising that might be the deal.

Hang in there RT- Think of it as dollar cost averaging in reverse! Some days you gain when you want to lose, but overall the weight keeps decreasing! THAT is the main long term goal.

Dragon Lady
Thanks. It is a marathon, not a sprint. :)

I'll get here, someday.

If it was easy no one would ever have trouble with their weight.

I have battled with mine my whole adult life.

Yeah. I know.

It is harder when you're not accepted as you are. There's a bit of pressure that I put on myself, too.

Sorry. In a blah/tired mood.

Keep on fighting - you will win in the end as long as you stay at it and keep an eye on the finish line and not the lap times.
