Just a thought...

Just a thought, today. Given the news about the thwarted terror plot, how can people argue against us being in Iraq? Imagine if we weren't. What would be festering there had we not taken on the task? Hmmmmm.....Just a thought.

I think your comparing apples and oranges here. Based on the terrorists' nationality, it would make more sense if we had invaded Great Britain and Pakistan.

GrimJ: Point taken, but product of the the over-"let 'em be-ness" that much of Britain shows (what I assume to be past tense now), can also be seen when rogue states open their doors to terror organizations that offer them money in return for allowing them to train and congregate. In any case that region of the world is a mess because the only right and wrong seen is based on "sticking up) for Muslims based on faith alone and tribal stuff. True right an wrong (if you think of the 10 commandments) never comes into the picture. Which helps to prove your point if you were able to hear an interview with the head of British Muslims (paraphrase on an organization) or any interview the past month with regard to the Israeli/Hezbollah battle.
