Enjoying the view

Looking at the universe through this lens reminds me who is really in control.

Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV)

1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Cripes, now I'm thinking of dragging the big scope out tonight.
I wish they would run a mission to Hubble a bit sooner and get the ACS camera repaired. That was a big loss. I presume you know about http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html

WOW! Cool pictures! Thanks for the link. I like to stare up at the stars on a clear night. Without a scope, but I enjoy it just the same.

Great video and I love those verses. You are so right about being reminded about who is really in control.

I have to remind myself everyday. :)

Try using a pair of binocs. Use something to steady the hold. You'll be amazed at what you can see.

I'll have to remember that for when I get a house. I've always just wanted to have a backyard and go sit and stare at the stars. Sounds stupid, but I'm not a very complicated person. HA! It would be impossible to do around here...too much wattage.

Cool views. Things you'd think you could only see on Star Trek.
