Picture of the Day

A wabbit eating his breakfast:

Today I said two things I never thought I'd say:
"Stop touching his butt."
"Don't sit on his head."

Then later, I learned that it is good to be the teacher. It is especially good when you catch a kid cheating and that kid takes the zero like a champ.

Oh, and I have a possessed car stereo. It will be replaced before my trip. If that had happened while I was driving down to TN, I would have had a cow.

I have a question: Are power windows supposed to be able to go up and down with the car turned off? The keys were still in the ignition, but the car was completely off.

Something tells me that I need to name my car, "Christine." (Don't worry folks, I have a great warranty. I wouldn't take the car without it.)

I accidentally found this out (hand hit the button as I was getting out), so I'll have to look at my owner's manual over the weekend. I figured that was the case, but wasn't sure.

My stereo is possessed, though.

Checking the owners manual to see if it is designed behaviour sounds like a good idea to me.

If I turn off my ignition with the lights on they are turned off automatically unless I flick a switch to leave them on - has fooled my local vehicle inspectors on more than one occasion when they are testing the parking lights.

Possessed stereo? What is it doing, insisting on play MOR for you?

I have the same type of lights.

When the CD is in its player, but the radio is on, when I hit the buttons, sometimes the display gets all weird, and I can't change the station.

Friday, I had the CD sticking out and the motor kept running, even when I took the CD completely out of the player. The sound went off when I tried to change the station and the display got all weird.

At the dealership, the stereo turned on and off by itself with the power on.

Fun stuff. If this had happened while I was on the road to TN, I would have been really bummed. Reception isn't the best in the mountains, and it helps to have the CD player as a back up. I prefer the radio on road trips, so that I can hear and traffic or weather alerts. Also, changing channels keeps me from getting bored. I even cruise the AM stations. Interesting stuff.

Gee, could I ramble a bit more? Hmmm... nope. HA!
