39

TO DO LIST:
10:55 a.m.-Go see No Country for Old Men and eat popcorn and soda at a stupid hour of the morning (during the week, it is my lunch 1/2 hour).

After the movie:
  • Go to Wegmans' to buy . . .
  • their ( mini) Ultimate Chocolate Cake,
  • Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream,
  • a totally useless fashion magazine (a.k.a. self-esteem killer),
  • flowers for myself--well, maybe,
  • and a yummy salad for lunch (or visit their Chinese food buffet).
Then . . .
  • go home,
  • kick up my feet,
  • practice my guitar,
  • read the stupid magazine,
  • and when 7:00 p.m. hits, get a slice of cake,
  • some of the ice cream,
  • a glass of water (or milk),
  • and watch the Flyers play the Stars.
Update: I've managed to kick up my feet today. I'm learning that I shouldn't make "to do" lists.

  2. I just woke up sick as a dog, so I won't be going out. I'll go to the movie tomorrow after lunch with dad if I feel better. It looks really good.

Thank you for the well wishes. :)

  9. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RT! 39's the new 25!
Maybe you can celebrate by taking a trip to Philly and checking out a museum. On second thought you better stay home where it's safe!

    YAY! I'm 25! Woo hoo!
Yeah, I'd like to make it to the next birthday, so I will avoid Philly (for now).

  17. HBRT!

Do you think when people ask and you say you're 39, they'll just say "suuuuuure you're 39!"?

They say your memory's the first to go.. I didn't see "pick up some tasty Guiness" on your shopping list.

  19. Vinnie:
I was all set to stop at the liquor store on the way home Friday. I was so tired, I just went home and didn't remember I wanted to buy beer until yesterday. I'm getting old. Knowing yesterday was going to be "one of those days" for me, I wanted to get drunk, trust me.

    JD:
Thank you! Hmmm...according to my archives, you have a birthday next week. Hmmm...
