The A-Team!

Director John Singleton (Boyz in the Hood), is rumored to be slated for a movie version of the A-Team!

I used to love the show. I wonder how a movie version would fare?

Here's who I would pick for the starring roles:

Col. John "Hannibal" Smith (George Peppard): (Can't we just resurrect Peppard?) I sincerely can't think of anyone. Ummm....Sir Anthony Hopkins?

Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock (Dwight Schultz): Will Smith

Sgt. Bosco "B.A." Baracus (Mr. T): Vin Diesel

Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck (Dirk Benedict): Colin Farrell

Who are your choices?
(H/T: Beyond Hollywood)

P.S. HERE ARE THE CAPTION CONTEST WINNERS. :)

  1. I'd bring Mr. T back- you can't duplicate him, and he's still around...

I was thinking the same thing, but maybe some new blood?

  3. how about Jim Carrey as Murdock? He's got the crazy bit down pat.

Something tells me you'd pick Colin Farrell for any movie just to get a chance to look at a slice of beefcake. :)

  4. I thought Jim Carry for Murdock, but I didn't want to be too obvious, but I guess he really is the obvious choice.

Colin Farrell has a new movie coming out. He plays a cop. I wonder if Wyatt knows any cops that look like Farrell? Oh, I got a little sidetracked there for a second. Yep, I'd pick Colin Farrell for anything, especially if I was the casting director (wink, wink). ;P

  5. Maybe you should be the casting director. Good choices.

  6. I also picked Jim Carey for Murdock. For the Baracus role - Vin is a good choice, or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

For Peck - Steve Carrell, and for Hannibal, I have to agree with Fiar's choice of the Mr. Peterman guy, John O'Hurley. He's got the right look.
